No, not really a Banana shell, but a highly polished Mussel shell used for the body of this elegant angel. It has glittered wings a hand painted face with traditional head and neck leis. Two artists have combined their talents to create this very original Anela . Judith has drawn and painted the face on thisWehi, ornament, and on each and every Anela that we have ever made. Anna DeCarlo, an outstanding and creative artist, in her own right, paints the shell body. The shell itself is translucent, which allows the glow from a Kalikimaka light to shine through. She is not quite 5” in length. The flower is a Hibiscus, an abundant tropical flower. Actually Santa knows the Hawaiian word for Hibiscus. Be sure to ask him. santa@mauichristmas.com
